HOW DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY?

We have a simple, very low, hourly fee. There are no additional costs. Our rates are nearly impossible to beat for the amount of publication-quality food photos that you receive.

WHO OWNS THE PHOTOS?

You own the photos. The images are yours to use however you want. No licensing fees. No usage fees. Use them on your website, submit to press for publication - it's up to you.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

An average shoot will consist of around 15 dishes, yielding a total of about 300 photos. This normally takes around four hours. We then choose the best photos (usually two to four shots of each plate), edit those for color, and save in a high-resolution, press-ready format. This process usually takes about half of the time of a shoot, so you can budget for about two hours of editing from a four-hour shoot. You will receive a disc with the edited, 'best-of-shoot' photos, as well as all of the photos from the entire session. You own all of the images.

We shoot on location at your restaurant. As long as you have some natural light (we shoot during the day) and great looking food (we don't employ food stylists), then we have everything that we need to produce fantastic photos.

HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR FEES SO LOW?

We don't use a studio, and we don't use stylists, assistants or lighting rigs. All of the photos that you see on this site were shot on location, using natural light. We work quickly and efficiently in order to keep costs down for our clients.
